Are you a seasoned UX/UI designer with a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences? We're looking for a talented individual to join one of our favorite client's teams on a contract basis.

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects spanning both B2B and B2C domains, from web platforms to mobile applications.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to define project goals, user flows, and information architecture.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify user needs and pain points, contributing to the strategic direction of projects.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma.
  • Implement and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Perform usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs.
  • Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to both internal teams and clients.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C project environments, demonstrating adaptability across different business contexts.
  • Ability to dive into new industries and domains quickly, becoming a proficient subject matter expert.
  • Experience with early-stage design processes, including strategy, research, and problem framing.
  • Proficiency in tools like Figma for design and prototyping.
  • Strong understanding of usability principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, to articulate and present design concepts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
  • Previous experience in a client service or agency environment.
  • Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and human-centered design approaches.
Location: Remote (open to candidates from anywhere in NZ)
Duration: 6-month contract-based, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
