Company:
This Kiwi startup has an established SaaS platform and is becoming extremely well-known in one of NZ's key sectors. They're now looking to expand into other verticals and sizable international markets and are growing their team to achieve these ambitious goals.

Role:
You will join their existing mobile development team to build, test, and deploy features in their React Native apps that meet the needs of their users. You will collaborate with wider team members to integrate APIs and SDKs into their mobile applications and ensure compatibility with various devices and versions.

They are looking for someone with an Android in their pocket. You will lead efforts in the development of their Android technologies and will work closely with the Mobile Team Lead (who has an iPhone in their pocket) to understand the wider play of their iOS, web and API platforms as the ecosystem develops.

Ideally, you'll have some of the following:

• Proven work experience as a React Native (Android) developer, with a portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store
• In-depth knowledge of React and React Native
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Ability to write unit tests and UI tests using Jest, JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito
• Experience with version control tools, such as Git and GitHub
• Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Comfort using Atlassian, Teams and other common tools
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment effectively
• Familiarity with setting up pipelines in Git Hub Actions would be great
