About the Role: We’re looking for a Tech Lead to drive the technical development of a cloud-based client engagement platform designed for veterinary practices. This product, which integrates seamlessly with leading practice management software, enables veterinary teams to engage with pet owners more effectively and manage communications efficiently. As a Tech Lead, you’ll focus on full stack development with TypeScript, serverless architecture, and AWS, leading one or two agile squads in delivering high-quality, cloud-native solutions. This role is ideal for a tech leader passionate about product development, clean code, and mentoring the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the technical direction and development of a full stack, serverless client engagement platform, with a focus on TypeScript and AWS to create scalable, cloud-native solutions.
- Build and maintain a responsive, user-friendly front end using React or similar JavaScript frameworks, optimising the interface for seamless client and veterinary interactions.
- Design and refine API solutions that are developer-friendly, well-documented, and easily maintainable to facilitate seamless integrations.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams, supporting best practices in product development and fostering a collaborative, quality-driven environment.
