As the
Asset Manager for this public entity, you will design and embed an integrated system to manage their
physical assets (laptops, mobiles) and
software licenses (Microsoft, SAP, etc.) in a centralised
Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You will ensure the process is robust, scalable, and aligned with enterprise tools like
ServiceNow and
SAP.What We’re Looking For: To excel in this role, you will need:
- Proven Expertise:
- A track record of setting up and embedding asset management processes into BAU.
- Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, SAP, and Microsoft.
- Process Mastery:
- Skilled in designing lifecycle processes for IT assets (procurement to retirement).
- Strong understanding of software license compliance.
- Financial Acumen:
- Experience in budgeting, ROI analysis, and financial reporting for IT assets.
- ITSM Knowledge:
- Ability to align asset management with IT Service Management principles.
- Analytical Mindset:
- Strong reporting and analytics skills, including creating dashboards and actionable insights.
- Communication & Change Management Skills:
- Adept at engaging stakeholders and driving process adoption across teams.
