Project Manager – Website and Microsite Rebuild

About the Role: We seek an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a new microsite build for a key government agency, followed by the complete rebuild of their primary website.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage impactful digital projects with significant visibility and public engagement.

This role offers genuine greenfield opportunities, giving you flexibility and creativity around technology choices. We don't have to stick with traditional CMS tools—consider options like Webflow, no-code solutions, or other innovative approaches.

Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and leading the internal digital agency team to support these projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of a new microsite, including planning, execution, monitoring, and launch.
• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, developers, and UX/UI designers to ensure timely project milestones and quality outcomes.
• Applying agile methodologies to effectively guide teams through project phases.
• Transitioning into the complete overhaul of the agency's main website, integrating innovative solutions and user-centric design principles.
• Proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities, ensuring smooth project progression and continuous stakeholder alignment.
• Establishing and managing the internal digital agency team to build and maintain digital assets and projects.

Skills and Experience We're Looking For:

• Proven experience managing digital projects, particularly web builds and microsites.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to navigate complex environments.
• Experience working within government or public sector projects is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical knowledge with strategic oversight.
