The Company
Our client is building a visual progress-tracking platform for complex construction projects—helping teams stay aligned on what’s happening on site, reduce admin friction, and validate progress with confidence. They’re now hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to join as the second dedicated ML/AI hire, with real ownership and influence over what gets built and how it’s deployed.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ML from concept to production. You’ll partner closely with product and engineering to design and ship computer vision models that interpret site imagery, and you’ll also explore how LLMs and multimodal models can unlock new workflows and product features. You’ll be trusted to decide when to build custom models versus leveraging proven commercial models, always with a focus on reliability, quality, and measurable value.
What you'll do
Day to day, you’ll work across the full ML lifecycle: sourcing and curating training data, guiding data quality and labeling, building training pipelines, running experiments, and deploying high-throughput inference into production. You’ll also help establish the practices that make ML scalable—monitoring, validation, repeatable pipelines, and strong engineering habits—so models don’t just work once, they keep working.
Skills/ Experience
We’re looking for someone with solid experience shipping production systems with meaningful ML components, particularly in computer vision. You should be comfortable owning end-to-end delivery, and confident working across MLOps (data, pipelines, CI/versioning, monitoring). Experience experimenting with LLMs/LVMs or multimodal approaches is important, especially if you’ve combined off-the-shelf models with custom ML to deliver outcomes. If you’ve worked with PyTorch, TensorRT, edge deployment, or a stack that includes Python plus .NET/C#, that’s a bonus—but not essential.
