The Role This is a foundational data role with significant ownership and influence.
As the company’s first dedicated Data Specialist, you’ll design and build the organisation’s data infrastructure from the ground up. You’ll create pipelines, structure datasets, and deliver dashboards that support product, commercial, and leadership decision-making.
You’ll also work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating questions into actionable insights while helping shape future capabilities including AI and machine learning.
Skills & Experience - Strong experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Experience building data pipelines (ideally with AWS Glue, Athena, and S3)
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting (ideally using AWS QuickSight)
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with stakeholders across the business
- Bonus: exposure to GenAI, machine learning, or building data teams
