About the Role This is a key leadership role sitting between the Head of Engineering and a growing integrations team (10+ engineers).
You’ll lead end-to-end integration delivery across customer projects and reusable products, combining hands-on engineering with team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
The role is heavily backend-focused, working on middleware, APIs, and system integrations, with a strong emphasis on scalable architecture and delivery excellence.
Skills & Experience - Strong background in software engineering (Node.js, TypeScript essential)
- Proven experience leading teams (5–15 engineers) in a hands-on capacity
- Expertise in API & integration design (REST, GraphQL, data flows, middleware)
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP also considered)
- Experience delivering end-to-end integration projects
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience
- Passion for modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development
