About the Role

A newly created leadership role designed to take a proven SaaS platform into its next stage of scale. Working closely with the founders and product leadership, you'll become the senior technical voice in the business, owning architecture, engineering standards, technical strategy, and scalability across a modern TypeScript/Node.js stack.

You'll help evolve the engineering function from startup pace into a high-performing environment, without losing the agility that made the product successful. For the right person, this is a chance to combine deep technical leadership with real-world impact at scale.

What You'll Own

• Technical architecture and platform scalability
• Engineering standards, quality, and delivery practices
• Technical roadmap alongside founders and product leadership
• Mentorship and growth of the engineering team
• Cross-functional technical decision-making
• Modernisation of systems, tooling, and processes

Skills & Experience

• Senior engineering leadership experience in SaaS or tech
• Strong architectural capability in scaling environments (TypeScript/Node.js)
• Experience building or maturing engineering functions and delivery practices
• Ability to balance technical quality with commercial and product priorities
• Proven people leadership and mentoring experience
• Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure
