About the Role As Lead Engineer, you will own the engineering function across delivery, technical standards, hiring, and culture. This is a player-coach role where you’ll remain hands-on with architecture, code reviews, and development while leading a growing engineering team. You’ll work closely with the CTO-CPO to translate product direction into high-quality software delivered at start-up pace.
The platform is built primarily with Go (Golang), Kubernetes / GKE, and Google Cloud Platform, supported by modern AI-assisted developer tooling including Cursor and Claude.
While experience with this stack is valued, our client is ultimately focused on hiring exceptional engineers and leaders rather than strict box-ticking against specific technologies. If you have strong technical capability, start-up experience, and the ability to learn quickly, we encourage you to apply even if you haven’t worked extensively with every technology listed above.
