We would love you to help us welcome Kayla Moore to the Talent Army Wellington team.
Kayla comes to us after spending 5 years previously with another IT recruitment company where she was a "Sourcing Specialist" helping them to find amazing IT candidates.
We are delighted to welcome her to the team and as usual, we sat down with her and asked her some questions so our community can get to know her a little.

Please tell us a little about yourself outside of work?

In my own time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, I love taking my son to staglands and the zoo, although I feel like the outing is for my excitement

Please tell us a little about your work and what you have done?

I have been a Sourcing Specialist for 5+ years and I enjoyed the very technical roles such as Developers, Testers and Architects

Why did you join Talent Army?

I joined Talent Army as I liked the relaxed and people first approach, it's all about making a positive impact in the technology space and people's lives rather than looking at every engagement with a dollar sign hanging over everyone's heads.

Why do your clients and candidates love dealing with you?

I feel people like to deal with me as I have a pretty relaxed approach when it comes to conversations, and although I am employed by an agency, I essentially work for my candidates and clients and will always do best by them and their requirements with hiring and requirements to help them on the best career path as possible.

What is something not many people know about you?

I have a shoe obsession, last year I had 25 pairs of shoes... I've started again and now I have 8... I will buy a new pair of shoes every month and yes I hide them from my boyfriend

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Road trips, cooking, shopping, and swimming

Anything where I can buy shoes... shoe obsessed

Why do you love technology?

Quick and easy to connect with people and do things faster! Until the world wide web crashes again... let's hope we still know about pen and paper
