Dom is an English expat who traveled the world and upon arriving in New Zealand, fell in love and never left. As you can see from his bio photo, Dom loves photography and capturing all the great places he has traveled in NZ and other countries.

Having worked in tech sourcing roles prior to Talent Army he joined us with great experience, though he did not feel he was getting deep enough with his candidates and wanted to work here to learn more.

Within the last year Dom has become one of Talent Army’s greatest sourcers and can usually be found in the office the earliest and is one of the last to leave.

Dom deeply cares about the opportunities he works on and knows his clients so well, they message him to stay in contact as friends even when they are not hiring. 

‍

He will research his clients thoroughly and spend as much time as possible with them to learn as much as possible of them and their story so that he is able to articulate to candidates exactly who they are and what they are looking for.

Dom is known by his candidates as someone who can be trusted and is often referred to by candidates who have not had a good relationship with a recruiter as someone who can be absolutely trusted. 

‍

He will go above and beyond what is expected of a recruiter to ensure they have had a great experience and are represented to opportunities that they are truly yearning for. 

‍

While Dom spends most of his time searching for engineering talent, his clients love working with him so much they throw all types of roles at him to source. 

‍

Outside of work you can usually find Dom in the gym, going on adventures or socialising with friends.
