Ross is an Account Manager at Talent Army Auckland, specialising in recruitment for NZ tech startups, scale ups and global tech businesses.

At Talent Army, Ross enjoys working closely with founders and hiring managers to find the right people, fast. For him it’s not just about filling a vacancy. It’s about building lasting partnerships and finding the right fit for both client and candidate.

Before joining Talent Army, Ross spent two years at HOME Recruitment, progressing from Associate Consultant to Consultant. HOME specialises in bringing Kiwi talent home after time overseas, and Ross became skilled at matching people’s offshore experience with roles at some of New Zealand’s most innovative organisations.

Ross took a less typical route into recruitment. He started out in healthcare with the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust in the UK, working in pulmonary rehabilitation, and squeezed in a ski season as a chalet host in Méribel along the way. With a degree in Outdoor Activity Leadership and Coaching, he brings a coach’s approach to recruiting: he listens, builds trust and helps people make their next move with confidence.
