The Opportunity

We’re looking for an action and results driven team member, with the heart to lead a small team who leverage our smart network to provide a seamless customer experience. As the Network Operations Manager, leading ChargeNet’s operations, you will oversee the performance, safety, and expansion of ChargeNet’s nationwide EV charging network. This position is based in Auckland with hybrid working.


Your Responsibilities

Health & Safety Leadership:

Implement ChargeNet’s health and safety strategies to maintain compliance and foster a safety-first culture.

Network Operations & Performance:

Drive internal excellence to deliver seamless customer experiences, ensure optimal network uptime, and oversee maintenance, repairs, and operational improvements.

Team Leadership:

Lead a high-performing team of technical professionals and contractors, fostering collaboration, growth, and accountability.

Supplier & Industry Relations:

Build partnerships strong enough to change the future, developing and maintaining strong relationships with equipment suppliers, service providers, and contractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality service.

Strategic Contributions:

Shape and execute a network operations strategy aligned with ChargeNet’s goals and objectives.


What You Bring

• Proven Experience: Network or asset operations management in energy or related industries (5+ years).
• Health & Safety Expertise: Demonstrated success implementing and managing health and safety systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, EV charging technology, and infrastructure.
• Leadership: Ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams, with a focus on accountability and operational excellence.
• Strategic Thinking: Capacity to balance short-term operational needs with long-term strategic goals.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive, adaptable approach to overcoming challenges and achieving results.
