Main Experience
My client is looking for someone with good automation and coaching skills. They use Playwright so experience with this is very important.
You will be working with two other QA's. This person will need to be able to lead the automation effort with solid QA planning experience.
Required experience for the role: - Experience in web-based software quality assurance, covering all aspects of functional and non-functional testing. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with integrating QA processes into DevOps pipelines, utilising tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Ability to support continuous testing and ensure high software quality in continuous deployment environments.
- Hands-on experience in test automation using modern test automation tools such as Playwright. Capable of building and maintaining automated test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring maximum coverage and stability across releases.
- Strong experience conducting both functional and non-functional tests, including API, E2E, performance, load, stress, and security testing. Able to use tools like JMeter for performance testing and applying security best practices during testing activities.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking tools such as Jira for identifying, logging, triaging, and managing issues effectively. Experience prioritising issues based on severity and impact on the product.
