About the Role: As the Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading both the architecture and the daily operations of our web applications and services. You will be a hands-on technical expert responsible for guiding a talented squad, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of platforms serving a global community. From overseeing API design to collaborating with cross-functional product teams, you will be the primary technical point of contact for the web domain.
Skills & Experience: - Extensive professional experience in web development, with proven experience in a team leadership or senior mentorship position.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proven expertise with modern front-end frameworks, specifically Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Solid experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and managing SQL database schema design.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including familiarity with IaC tools like AWS CDK and cloud container services.
- Proven experience with source control management (Git) and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of authorization mechanisms like OAuth or similar. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and coach a technical team
