About the Role Our client is looking for a Backend Ruby on Rails Developer to help build and scale their core platform. You’ll focus primarily on backend services, cloud infrastructure, and system performance while collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful features.
Skills & Experience - Strong commercial experience with Ruby on Rails
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, or Elasticsearch
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Comfortable working in startup or fast-paced product environments
- Bonus: exposure to React or frontend work, and AI tools such as Claude
